Divorce and separation

Whatever the reason for your divorce, I will advise and guide you through the process by informing you of your rights and obligations, while remaining sensitive to the social and personal issues specific to your situation.

Child custody and access rights

After a break-up, if an agreement regarding the custody of the children cannot be reached between both parents, a judge may have to render a decision. In that case, and because the fundamental interests and stability of your children are at the heart of the judicial analysis that shall be required by the judge called upon to make a decision, I will be there to defend your interests and protect those of your children.

Child and Spousal Support

Under the law, you may be entitled child support and in some cases alimony, i.e. support for your personal needs. I will explain the guidelines that apply to your specific situation and help demystify the calculations and intricacies of these types of support claims.

Partition of the family patrimony and matrimonial regimes

During divorce, I will help you make a list of the properties included in your family patrimony and work towards determining their fair market value to ensure a fair and equitable partitioning between all parties involved. I will also explain the different rules that may apply to your matrimonial regime.
